Addicted or Not

I will say that I am an avid WOW player as this world within our world goes. I have now been playing for three years. When I first began I would have claimed to be addicted, being at that time it was a whole new world to me. I couldn't get enough... Ate, slept, breathed World Of Warcraft, It would be "I'll get off in a minute" and ended up being hours on end.

Since the beginning I have been around to see two more expansions evolve my second world into yet more than I thought it could ever be. More levels, thousands of new quests, new beasts, dungeons and areas along with new races. With WOW you make your own unique experience. What you do and how you move on is your decision. As with real life... "Life is the sum of all of your choices"...

In game my main toon (your character) is known as JadedRose and is a Night Elf Druid. As I am now reaching towards lvl 84 and things are so intense. Since the launch of Cataclysm I find myself back at the point where I'm like "have so many things to do and don't know where to start". There are so many aspects to this world... If you are the questing type...got that...If your are the fighting type...got that...raiding and dungeons got that too. You can learn different professions and sell your services and wares to make gold, silver and copper (in - game money).

For the past few days I have had the pleasure of my real life cousin rolling through World of Warcraft once again (put me on from the start) with me. He has just returned from a long hiatus. So long that he had missed Lich king and the lastest... Cataclysm. He now has Lich and he has fallen in love all over again. I have been updating him and helping him along through all of this newness (to him anyways). I just happen to ask him "Hey cuz, are you addicted or avid?". I almost had to pee my pants I laughed so hard when he replied "ADDICTED AGAIN" .

But whatever you do don't get caught out there by a scam email and have your account suspended...As with the real world, there are those that would rather utilize their time pilfering from others instead of getting the full experience of the game and doing it themselves. Don't fall prey to the "buy gold thing" either...

More to come...

It sure is. I started WOW 3 yrs ago and at that time I wasn't into online gaming as I am now. I would play on Pogo or something but once I played Wow, lol I was like "WOW". ;-)

You are most welcome and I would like to thank you as well. I have read a few of your hubs and saw some of your comments. Very insightful and enjoyable ;-) thanks again.
